This is my preliminary contents page. I have kept to a similar house style as both the school website and the front cover of the magazine. In addition I have used a transparent effect in order for my photographs to blend in and compliment the simple background thus making it subtle and easy to read. The photos used are not only relevant to my articles but they are placed parallel to the text in order to frame the page.
I have developed my contents page, as you can see from my drafts, adding blocks behind the text in order to make the text easier to read whilst also removing all white space. By doing this, I have also challenged the conventions of a real magazine as they usually organise their text in such a way.
